A British Heritage Society

Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association (TBPA) was founded in Great Britain in 1947 by parents whose daughters married American GIs and Canadian Soldiers after WWII and came to the USA and Canada.  Originally the purpose was to charter flights so that visits between the families were more affordable but out of this convenience also grew a social connection in which the brides found fellow Brits encountering the same experiences in their new home.

Today TBPA is a social and philanthropic association that holds meetings on a regular basis in local clubs, area meetings and national conventions.

Membership is open to anyone, male or female of British birth or heritage and includes

  • Subscription to the "Together Again" magazine.
  • Admission to all TBPA related events including Branch meetings, Area Meeting and Biennial National Conventions.

TBPA membership are available in two forms: General and Postal.
